SAGO PAYASAM RECIPE
Ingredients: Sago 100gms Milk 350ml Cardamoms 3 nos crushed Rose water 3 ml Cashew nuts 5 gms Butter 5 gms Sugar 100gms Condensed milk 50 ml How to make sago payasam: - Boil the milk in a sauteue along with the sugar and the sago over
a medium flame.
- Cook till the sago swells up.
- Remove from the fire.
- Add the cardamoms, condensed milk and the rose water and mix
thoroughly.
- Melt the butter in a pan and add the cashew nuts and fry till
golden brown.Drain.
- Place on top of the payasam.
- Serve in ice cream coupes or small glass bowls at luke warm
temperatures.
