SAGO PAYASAM RECIPE

Ingredients:

Sago 100gms
Milk 350ml
Cardamoms 3 nos crushed
Rose water 3 ml
Cashew nuts 5 gms
Butter 5 gms
Sugar 100gms
Condensed milk 50 ml

How to make sago payasam:

Boil the milk in a sauteue along with the sugar and the sago over a medium flame.
Cook till the sago swells up.
Remove from the fire.
Add the cardamoms, condensed milk and the rose water and mix thoroughly.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the cashew nuts and fry till golden brown.Drain.
Place on top of the payasam.
Serve in ice cream coupes or small glass bowls at luke warm temperatures.
