Sour curd 2 cups
Fresh curd 2 cups
Sugar 3 1/2 cups
Cardamom and nutmeg powders 1 tsp
Saffron 1/2 tsp
Almonds and pistachios 4 tbsps
Yellow colour 1/4 tsp


How to make Shrikhand:
  • Grind the sugar.
  • Slice the almonds and pistachios.
  • Mix curd and hang up in a piece of muslin. Drain out all liquid.
  • Holding a fine cloth over a bowl, rub the curd through it, adding sugar gradually.
  • When the mixture is ready, add all other ingredients. Mix and serve with puris.
