Description:

Anise is a main ingredient in cakes, cookies, sausages, breads, cheese, pickles, stews, fish and other recipes.

Uses:

1) Kitchen Use
Allspice is used in pickle, vegetables, roasts, pastries, gravies, meat, seasonings, sauces, curry, sausages, ketchup, jams, stews, sauces, fish, cheese, hams and baked goods. It is used for making Caribbean, Indian, Mexican and English dishes.

2) Medicinal value

Anise is used as remedy for the following common problems:

Weak memory or to improve memory
Take 2 tblsp of the following mixture three times daily. Combine 5-8 tsp of aniseeds with 1 quart boiling water and let it simmer. Next combine 4 tsp of honey and 3-4 tsp glycerin.

2 tsp of above mixture every few hours.
