Carrot Chutney Recipe
Carrot chutney is made by grinding fried carrots, chillies, ginger with tamarind juice and seasoned with urad dal and curry leaves. Learn how to make carrot chutney.
Ingredients:
2 grated carrots
4 green chilies
1/2 inch ginger
1 tsp tamarind liquid
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp urad dhal
a bunch of curry leaves
3 tsp oil
How to make Carrot Chutney:
- Fry grated carrots, green chilies, chopped ginger in moderate heat in little oil.
- Keep it aside for a minute to cool down.
- Grind them with salt and tamarind liquid into a fine paste.
- Mix well. Season it with fried mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dhal.
