Jinga Na Kavab

Learn how make jinda ka kavab by frying rolls of prawns, onion, beaten eggs and bread.


1 kg prawns, with shells
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp dhanajeera
small quantity of ground ginger and garlic paste or powder
2 medium onions
12 green chillies
1/2 bunch coriander leaves
1/2 bunch mint leaves
2 slices of bread
2 eggs
1 cup wheat flour
oil to fry


How to make Jinga Na Kavab:
  • Clean the prawns.
  • Grind it with the onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, not too line.
  • Then add salt, turmeric, dhanajeera and beaten eggs.
  • Add the slices of bread after removing the crust and soaking it for 15 minutes.
  • Form into small balls, roll in wheat flour and fry in hot oil.
  • Serve with Dhansaak.
