Mango Ice Cream

Recipe for how to make the very refreshing and delicious Indian mango ice cream.


12 ripe mangoes
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup sugar
Few drops of mango essence
Pinch of food color
Few mango pieces


How to make Mango Ice Cream:
  • Squeeze out the mango pulp.
  • Mix sugar with mango pulp and beat well..
  • Blend all the other ingredients in a mixer except mango pieces and a little cream.
  • Add the mango pulp and whisk for about 10-15 minutes, till the mixture turns frothy.
  • Refrigerate the mixture.
  • Remove the mixture when semi-solid and whip again for five minutes.
  • Dish up decorated with cream and mango pieces.
