Masala Vegetable Recipe

Masala vegetable is our all time favorite which is made by cooking various vegetables with chopped coriander and spices. learn how to make masala vegetable.



Ingredients:

450 gms (1 lb.) cauliflower
450 gms (1 lb.) potatoes
450 gms (1 lb.) green peas
3 chopped onions
1/2 teacup chopped coriander
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
4 tsp dhania-jira powder
3 to 4 tsp chilli powder
6 tblsp oil
1 tsp garam masala
2 tblsp chopped coriander for decoration
Salt to taste

To be ground into a paste
4 tblsp grated fresh coconut
4 green chillies
25 mm (1") piece ginger
14 cloves garlic

How to make Masala Vegetable:
  • Cut the vegetables into big pieces.
  • Mix the chopped coriander, turmeric powder, dhana-jira powder, chilli powder, chopped onions, paste, 2 tblsp of oil and salt very well.
  • Add the vegetables.
  • Apply the paste mixture to the vegetables.
  • Put the vegetables in a big vessel and add 4 tblsp of oil and 2 teacups of water.
  • Cover and cook until the vegetable is cooked.
  • Sprinkle the garam masala and chopped coriander.
