Mince Cutlet In Tomato Gravy

For Cutlets
1/2 kg mince
1/2 cup water
3 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 chopped onion
2 tblsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp pepper
2-3 slices of bread soaked in water
dry breadcrumbs
3 beaten eggs
4 chopped green chillies

For Tomato Gravy
1/2 kg riped tomatoes
1 cup water
1 tsp flour
1 tblsp oil
1 chopped small onion
3 green chillies
1 tsp chilli powder
small piece of ginger
2 tblsp sugar
2 tblsp vinegar


How to make Mince Cutlet In Tomato Gravy :
  • In a pan put the mince, adding chopped onions, green chillies, a little salt and half a cup of water on the fire.
  • After it is cooked and all the water dries up, remove from the fire and grind the mince mixture.
  • Add the ginger and garlic paste, salt, pepper, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander leaves.
  • Squeeze water out of the bread slices and add to the above mixture.
  • Mix and keep aside for 1-2 hours. Make 10 cutlets from the mixture, cover in bread crumbs, dip in the beaten eggs and deep fry till golden brown


  • For Tomato Gravy
  • In a pan, put the tomatoes adding 1 cup water, chopped onion, ginger, green chillies and a little salt, on the fire.
  • When the tomatoes are cooked, cool, and put through a blender, removing first the onion, ginger and green chillies.
  • Heat the oil, add flour and chilli powder and stir a little.
  • Slightly cool, add the tomato juice and bring it to a boil.
  • Add vinegar, sugar and salt to taste.
  • Serve hot on the cutlets.
