Mint Chutney Recipe

Mint chutney is both tasty and refreshing. Learn how to make mint chutney by cooking it with ginger, green chillies and grinding it with tamarind liquid and coconut.



Ingredients:

2 cups mint leaves
4 green chilies
1/2 inch ginger
2 tsp grated coconut
1 tsp tamarind liquid
1/4 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp urad dhal
salt to taste
1 tsp oil

How to make Mint Chutney:
  • Wash mint leaves, ginger and green chilies.
  • Heat oil and add mint leaves, ginger, green chilies and fry for few minutes.
  • Remove from flame.
  • Add grated coconut, salt and tamarind liquid.
  • Then grind this to a fine paste. Add little water if required.
  • Mix well.
  • Season it with fried mustard seeds and urad dhal.
