Okra Fry

Bhindi or Okra fry is a time saving recipe and can be served with rotis and parathas.


5-6 in number whole okra (bhindi)
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3/4 tsp salt
4 tsp oil
How to make Okra / Bhindi Fry:
  • Make one long slit in each okra with knife.
  • Mix chilli powder,turmeric powder and salt.
  • Apply the dry mixture to the slits in the okra with knife.
  • Heat oil and fry the okra turning them often for 6-7 minutes until they are soft and crispy.
