Vegetable Sesame Bites

This is a must try recipe. Vegetable sesame bites are made by coating a mixture of the cooked vegetables on the sides of the bread and then diped in a batter and deep fried.


8-10 slices of bread

For The Topping

1 cup boiled and mashed potato
1/2 cup diced carrots
1 chopped capsicum
100 gms sliced fresh beans
1 small chopped onion
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp schezwan sauce
salt/pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp maida
100 gm sesame seeds
oil for deep frying


How to make Vegetable Sesame Bites:
  • cut off the sides of the sliced bread and cut the slice into 4 triangles or squares.
  • to prepare the topping, heat oil and saute garlic, onon, add carrots, beans, capsicum potato, schezwan sauce, salt, pepper to taste. Cook for 3-4 minutes and remove.
  • cook and add maids to bind, if required.
  • apply this mixture on each slice of bread and coat with maida batter and sesame seeds; deep fry until golden brown, remove.
  • serve with chinese sauces.
