FRENCH TOAST RECIPE
Milk / cream 1 cup
Bread slices 4
Powdered sugar 2 tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp
How to make french toast:
- Whisk the eggs.
- Pour the whisked eggs into a flat dish, large enough to soak the bread slices.
- Mix in milk and sugar and soak one slice of bread in this for about 2 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Using a slotted spoon, remove the soaked bread and put into the pan. Let it cook on both sides for about 2-3 minutes.
- Similarly, for the other slices, adding more butter when required. Transfer to serving dish, dot with butter and serve immediately with a dash of honey.
