Rawa Idli


Semolina 1 cup
Curds 1 cup
Green chillies 4-5
A few cashew nuts
A sprig of curry leaves
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt Ghee 3tsps

How to make Rawa Idli:
  • Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add curry leaves, chopped green chillies and cashew nuts.
  • Then add semolina and roast for a while.
  • Cool and add salt and curds to it. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Grease idli cups and steam in an idli vessel for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with sambar and chutney.
